Rachael Ray fries

--I call these the Rachael Ray fries because she makes them all the time on her 30 minute meals show. They are quick, easy, versatile and delicious!--

INGREDIENTS:

Typically I do one potato per person and then increase the spices as needed. And thats it! Like I said, these are so versatile. I went with a smokey flavor to match the burger seasoning I use but you could do italian herbs, or just plain salt, even some season salt and a little chilli powder. So many options!

STEP 1:
Preheat oven to 500 degrees!
Wash potato and peel if you choose. (I leave the skins on) Then cut the potato in half then cut at an angle and slice into thick chunks. You can usually get about 8-10 slices per potato depending on the size.

STEP 2:
Place them all on a cookie sheet and sprinkle your seasonings down over the top and drizzle about 1tbsp of olive oil. Then using your hands mix it all around evenly coating BOTH sides of the taters. Arange them in a single layer on the sheet and pop them in the oven for 20-25 minutes. It depends on how cripsy you like them and about half way through take them out and flip them over so both side cook evenly.

STEP 3:
Pair them with a nice burger or pretty much anything you'd like!

ENJOY!
:) Courtney
