--This recipe was super easy and quick! Perfect for lunch time or dinner if you are pressed for time--
INGREDIENTS:
16 - lettuce leaves
1lb - ground beef
1tbsp - oil
1 - onion; chopped
2 - cloves garlic; minced
1tbsp - soy sauce
1tbsp - rice wine vinegar
1 bunch - green onions; chopped
2tsp - sesame seed oil
1 can - water chestnuts (optional)
STEP 1:
Rinse whole lettuce leaves, pat them dry and set aside. In large skillet, brown beef until no longer pink, remove and set aside. (If you use a potato masher it crumbles the beef more evenly so you dont have big chunks!) In the same skillet cook the onion just until the green onions start to wilt. Stir often
STEP 2:
In a small bowl combine soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and garlic and sesame seed oil.
STEP 3:
Add the beef back to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over, stir well to coat. Cook for about another 2-3 minutes until warmed through. Remove from heat and serve!
ENJOY!
